Introduction In India, there are mainly four seasons out of which summer season is the one. It starts in April and ends in the month of July. Other seasons are winter, spring and autumn. Every season has its merits and demerits.
Intensity of Heat and Temperature During summer season, the intensity of heat is too much which reduces our energy. The Sun rays are very hot that is why days are very hot and long in summer. May and June recorg the highest temperature.
Food and Drinks There are plenty of fruits during summer season. Mango is one of them. Other fruits are watermelon, muskmelon and raspberries.
Water contents of these fruits help us to balance water in the body. Curd-lassi, lemon water, cold coffee, mang? shake, jal-zeera are all a delight to taste and drink.
Conclusion Summer season can also bring ill-health. People suffer from heat strokes and diarrhoea. One must avoid stale and unhygenic food during this season. Avoid going out in mid Sun to prevent sun stroke.
